take a picture, it'll last longer

it's so hard keeping track of the days when you don't have anything to do.
recently i've been having trouble staying still and keeping my hands in place.
so i decided i that i would get some books to read for my superlong plane ride to china
i went to the borders @ bridgeport and wandered around.
this dude asked me if i needed help but i said no and took the escalator up to the 2nd floor.
in the end i ended up getting 3 books:

• the girl with the dragon tattoo
• the hunger games
• the tipping point

you can never go wrong with best sellers, plus claire told me that the hunger games is really awesome.

after making my purchases i got really hungry and found out that a jimmy johns had opened up across the street and before going to college i had never heard of it, so i decided to try it.

it was really good.

which kind of confused me because they made my sandwich really really fast and while i was eating it was pondering how a sandwich could taste so good when it had such few things in it.

i don't really think anything else really interesting happened yesterday besides brandon and i going to mcdonalds and getting 20 chicken nuggets for $5.

today was a little more exciting.

i dug out my giant camera from the closet and dragged brandon outside for a photoshoot.

everyone always says i take too many pictures, and it's so true but i can't help it.

i like the phrase "take a picture it will last longer" because it's one of the reasons i take pictures, to be able to preserve my memories forever in a tangible form.

pictures capture actions, emotions, and spirit; to me that is important.

i want to be able to remember events in my life from birthdays & holidays to summer adventures with my best friends & wednesday afternoons with my brother.

i really like looking at pictures of the people in my life, so whenever i have the chance i try to capture all the great moments in my life when i'm around the people most important in my life.
